The Stone Forest lies in the hinterland of the Middle Yunnan Plateau. The climate belongs to the subtropical low latitude monsoon climate, with an average temperature of 16¡æ. It¡¯s a large-scale comprehensive tourism area incorporating natural scenery, national customs, leisure and holiday, and scientific research.
Route 2: half day tour in the World Horti-Expo Garden, Jingdian (Golden Temple) Park .
The World Horti-Expo Garden is the site of the 1999 Kunming International Horticulture Exposition. It is a first class garden with typical Chinese and Yunnan characteristics. Here you can see a grand exhibition of horticulture from everywhere in the world. It is situated in the northern suburbs of Kunming.
Route3: Lijiang, 2 days & 1 night
D1: The Old Lijiang Town, Sifang street, the Mufu( Lijiang's ancient ruler Mu's official residence), the scenic Black Dragon Pool.
Stay in Lijiang.
D2: Flight to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain scenic spots: Yunshanping (Spruce Plateau) Grass Land (by cableway), Ganhaizi highland pasture, Baishuihe River, Dongba Park, Yuzhuqingtian Scenery Spot, Suhe Acient Town.
Flight back to Kunming in the evening.
Route4: Xishuang-banna, 3 days & 2 night
D1: Evening flght to Banna.
D2: The Tropical Botanical Garden of Menglun,Tai Culture Garden, Ganlan-ba(Olive Basin), Lancang River Valley.
Have ethnic diet, enjoy the Water-sprinkling games.
Stay in Banna.
D3: One day tour to Elephant Valley: Bus to Sancha River, visit the Wild Elephant Valley scenery area, look for wild elephant, and watch elephant show. Butterfly Garden, Snake Garden, Birds Garden. (including one-way cableway)
Flight back to Kunming in the evening.
